I found something strange. VERY strange... (The missing?)

Before 1.6 the Cobra only had one Earth Relic, also before one 1.6 the something was doing something weird to the sensors, might've been a bug but who knows. Anyway if you dropped any canister that canister would quickly dissapear from the sensors and would only appear when within 50 or so meters of it, only limpets could pick them up from far away. Also as far as I remember there weren't any Earth Relics floating in space surrounded by wreckage before 1.6 (altough we might not have noticed it because of the sensor jamming).

I think Frontier might've tried to revive something here? Because at the very least they've messed with it recently it seems, also as I said I am sure I visited Algol way after the treasure hunt but there were no USS, visited again a couple of weeks before 1.6 and I notice the USS.

Well, I dropped a canister of Nanobreakers just now (I've been sitting here a "while")... it's sticking to both radar and targeting. No comms chatter, no nothing... (been here since I posted the screenshots).

Yea I know it's not like that anymore, it used to though.

Egadz that paintjob is sick. Only one I've seen that I would actually be willing to pay for.
Shame this seems to be a dead end, pretty cool find.

FD should seriously remove the "obsolete" USSs and such -.- ... getting peoples hopes up about potentially finding something new and interesting, to find it being but a remnant of something that's binned ages ago.

Absolutely agree. The storylines could use a good, solid kick in the ### and stuff like this laying around is pretty frustrating.

Oughta be a living universe. A thing done is done, wiped, at best listed in history, gone. But we have these craps that serve no purpose - and spark curiosity about things which are done and buried....

Sadly this also torpedoes an idea I had now... good thing this happened before I put the effort in at least.

Ye, you're not the only one at that -.-

First I was like "yay!"... then queried other people... and went like "well, krud..."

Little late but odd timing and coincidence here.
Cetus' Bane was Perseus, an old greek hero. Fitting that a barnacle was found in Cetus' Bane, the California Nebula- part of the constellation Perseus.
