It works great I have the stick velcrowed to a hard big mouse pad, and the mouse pad is glued to a cutting board. same with the throttle

Oh nice, I need to get Velcro tape for my desk, the suction cups do virtually nothing, but I have used it for so long I know how to deal with the slip as part of my flight routine. I guess I apply a bit of downward pressure on the whole unit while I use it, and I periodically adjust it back out of habit. I just cant imagine the elbow room on a bed, but hey, im not there to see it so I am probably imagining the worse possible way.

I justget got a x55 what a <snip>. the puck were the spring sits sticks with all the springs strengths. the stick just dangles lose. I have lubed the post with some real good gun lube no help. the throttle is so stuff on the loosest setting. I have to hold it with my other hand.

anyone had better luck than me.


I heard CH Products are good but there stick don't yaw rite?

who else make a good H.O.T.S . I WANNA SPEND 200 TO 250. not 400 hundred..

I bought an X55 too, after much deliberation. I was very apprehensive because of what some had said about this HOTAS.
I have had it a few weeks now and there is nothing I can complain about. I feel it is an excellent and solid product. Very responsive and precise.
I would have liked two or three things a bit different, but no HOTAS is made just for me, so there is always something one might want different.

There will always be some bad eggs. return the stick and ask for a replacement.

x55 # 2.. the stick and throttle are great. but.. the yaw part of the stick works great. and all the buttons on the throttle work ok... but none of the buttons on the stick work..

no usb 3 here.. tried different usb ports.. it does not work in the windows control box.

I installed the drivers from web site. not the software.

I don't know ill call saiteck tomo I guess
