Hardware & Technical I got an X52 pro but having trouble with throttle

100% throttle only brings me to 40% throttle in game lol.

And it says engine boost Joy button number 31!

Where is 31?

I have only seen buttons go up into the twenties.

Install the latest drivers and software for tge X52 from the Saitek site. In there you can spot what button is what number. Maybe you have to disable the clutch function. Look in the Joystick settings of windows if the throttle has full range there.

Fire up the software and open up the control panel. For the love of god don't use the profiler if you want to have a good day.
Press each button and the diagram will shine which button number does what.
For your throttle. Do you have landing gear on? Use the landing tutorial as a safe-zone to configure your stick.
Change your throttle mode to "Full range" This makes the middle position 0 and then you have full control of both forward and reverse power. The nice part of this as well is that resting on the 0 point where the little subtle notch in the motion is, will give you that perfect supercruise wind-down speed where you can ride 10sec to arrival without whipping past the destination.
As for which button is which?
Just re-configure it to what makes sense to you. I spent an hour on mine but ive had my X52pro for over 7 years I believe.
Add stuff as you need to, use the pre-flight test when you make changes to make sure you have the essentials and nothing got un-mapped.
I believe throttle should also be set to collective.
And yes it is true about the clutch button mentioned above. This should be off, otherwise it virtually doesn't work.
Good luck!

Mine's the non-pro but I think it's identical. Chances are the 40% problem are a setting, perhaps you've.got it set to "full range$/instead of 0-100%? If you pull it all the way back does it go into reverse?

The boost button (31) is the upper " left thumb" button, but there's a problem with the drivers. Install the latest driver and the custom profile software, then delete all but the standard profile. I can't remember the details on how to do it but if you search the forums there's several threads about it.

Edit: There's a thread here that details how to use the profiler simply, and get a bunch of extra stuff working with it.

If you use the windows configuration settings it numbers all the buttons and highlights them when you press them.

the "I" button you refer to is the clutch button. its used in the default keybindings as the engine boost button.

button 31 I believe is one of the wheels on the base of the pro model.
