From what I understand it's possible to create an AI personality, give it an animated photo realistic avatar, voice input and output, and make it read the journal files. Who knows what someone creative could come up with..

We really couldn't. Frontier doesn't have the tech to do that. ChatGPT isn't ready. There's a guy that modded it into Skyrim and it is an impressive mod but...the delays between speaking, the ultra bad dialogue. Only nVidia could've done it, they are the leaders in making chips for this stuff. I am pleasantly surprised that it's happened so quickly, but then maybe the guy with the mod pushed them to reveal.
