So the exploration CG has ended...

But we don't get the CG payout for another 2 weeks I presume because technically it's not closed... (Crap payout btw)
And while we now have two weeks to go exploring for some bonus cash, we won't get that shiny G5 DSS Until after the bonus period has lapsed. Nice going FDev! You did it again!

Not that I give a fig for the G5 DSS (my exploration ships are already fitted with them) but not rewarding it until after the bonus period was a tad mean spirited I feel!

Update: so the weekly clock has now ticked over with the ARXs reset. The CG has paid out the rewards (such as they are) with the promise of the two week hand-in multiplier. But I don't see the DSS in the station outfitting store? Is this still not a thing until the two weeks have lapsed?
I'm now confused with what is going on with this one...

In the past, for the CGs which have provided modules like this, it has typically only taken them until the end of the week or less to provide the modules.

Do Frontier a favor and give them a few minutes to make the mistakes before you preemptively pass judgement on them Minority Report style!

I guess you could say I have a slow burning, cold dislike for FDev and their ways of looking at things... They have an uncanny knack for disappointment.

The module rewards tend to come a few days later - presumably it takes a little while to get and confirm the results, then give out all the modules.

Previous CGs have said "within 5 days" and it's usually been quicker than that.

They're also transferrable and cheap, so you could head off on your exploration trip now, when the modules are delivered transfer it to a nearby carrier with outfitting, then fit it and finish the rest of your trip with it.

I hope they don't. Its really irritating that fdev caves to everyone's demands and rushes to clean all your salt but cbf to do anything for console players. Where tf is our VR support? Our consoles can handle it now theres no excuses just console prejudice.

Thanks for this info! I haven't done one of these module reward CGs before so I wasn't aware of the delay. Makes sense though! 🙂
