I HATE SPIDERS! Still loves my wife

Like the title says!

So i was out doing some Bounty hunting in my Stealth FDL. After 30 min of hunting or so, 3 mio waiting for me to cash them in, and a beat up FDL, i thought now is the time to go back to station.

"Before i continue i just wanna add, i was sitting on the floor closer to my xbox, cause i have been having connection issues with the controller and xbox lately."

So i get to the station and are ready to dock and about to lower my landing gear, when i feel something crawling on my leg!
I look down only to see this monster of a huge House spider sitting there ready to chew my leg off
( normally im not scaired of spiders) BUT THAT NINJA WEB SHOOTER CAUGHT ME BY SURPRICE OKAY!!
I launch in to the air like a rocket on super fuel, trying to get that thing of me, only to see that i in my horror i pressed the boost key..
Now im dancing around the floor trying to fight that spider while screaming like a little girl " MY ship,, NO NO, NO MY SHIIIIP!"

As you all guessed by now i lost my ship, but what you probertly did'nt expect was that i did'nt kill the spider. I captured it and tolk it outside and released the spider, while saying " ok Spiderman you won this fight, but next time we meet i shall Hulk Smash you"

so i go back inside again to see the rebuy screen= 7mill, and my wife comes in and pats me on the head " There there, all this would not have happend had you vakuum cleaned the floor like i told you to do" im sitting there red in the skull like a tomato.....[mad] WHY DOES SHE ALWAYS HAVE TO BE RIGHT ARGHHHHHH!

Great story. I hate Spiders too, yet always capture them, rarely kill.

I say rarely cos once i saw one and had my Nerf gun next to me, and shot AT it. Didn't think my aim was that good! It squished the poor thing flat, but then again it was the size of Shelob so had it coming :)
Shame we don't have the joy of your audio/mic on that video. That would be fantastic!

Had plenty for a rebuy, still silly that i can beat tons of pirates and griefers, but i loose to a spider... Ohh the ironi :)

Lol.. funny story.

Spiders are welcome in our house, as long as they stay away of our bedrooms.. thats private zone.


Though, if they are getting to big, i pick them up and put them outside.

this is why I always release the landing gear just before passing the -no return- zone before entering the station. No boosting allowed :)

Similar thing happened to me. I was sitting there, was in a good mood, ran a few missions for the Empire. Then, all of a sudden, a big fat spider jumped down from the ceiling directly on my keyboard! Having Arachnophobia, I backed off, threw my headphones across the room and fled. I needed like two hours to kill it, and to calm down as my hands were shaking and paranoia plagued me.

Well, our spiders are completely harmless and tiny compared to some in Australia or Africa but damn, I freak out every time I see the bigger ones. I don't even want to harm them. Once I tried to pick one up so I can take it outside, it resulted in me stomping it to mud [sad]

One thing is for sure: I won't be a diplomat should we encounter arachnid/insectoid-ish aliens :D

I hate spiders.

But I'm trying to tolerate them. I currently have one living in the corner of my room. It seems to be working.
