Soggy overcooked, boiled in water, kale, agreed.

1. Rinse kale in water, do not dry off
2. Heat 1-2 tablespoon of olive oil in pan to high heat
3. Fry 2-4 cloves of garlic for 2 mins until starting to turn brown
4. Throw in wet kale and fry for 1-2 mins while constantly turning the kale.

Water on the kale stops it burning and crisping in the oil.
Voilà, perfectly cooked delicious kale.

To me it says a lot about kale that adding garlic will make it delicious.

My recipe for garlic and related plant based foods.
1. Preheat the oven to maximum
2. Place garlic in a surplus metal container and add to the top shelf
3. Cook for 3 hours then oven cool over night
3. Remove container and dispose of it and the contents.

Alternative method, do not allow the stuff in the house.

Only the clinically insane or Alliance view kale as 'food'.

Kale is best cooked at gas mark 20 in the fields using napalm.

I fit both those categories 😆

You both clearly haven't had kale cooked properly. Open your mind, embrace the strange.

I'm not sure this says much--wouldn't this work on anything? I bet even earthworms would come out tasting pleasant. I know grasshoppers would.

Although I don't mind kale raw--actually like it on a sandwich once in a while. I'm sure I'd like it fried. Seems like a waste of an opportunity to fry something else, though...
