this is just sad that 400 hours was spent doing noting but traveling in supercruise.

I'm looking at the stats but I don't see it. Can someone point out to me the part that says he spent 400 hours in supercruise?

I believe that thing on the right means you've an elite rank in trading. Literally all traders do is buy stuff, fly to another place, dock. 1/3 of the things a trader does is 'fly to another place' and I'm not surprised to see that be not far under a third of the time you spent in game.

I've spent a ton of my ED time trading and exploring, whuch means a lot of SC time, which means a lot of time multi-tasking eating toast.

mmmmm....toast.

time well spent. I bought 2 extra copies just to support FD, they have promoted healthy breakfast eating habits!

*technically one 'main' profile, one explorer, and one extra just because steam sale.

Yeah... beacause running/travelling from one place to another never happens in any other game.....

Yeah pacing seems to be a major issue with elite dangerous where you'll start spending some ridiculous amounts of needless time in supercruise. It's unfortunate since braben himself even said he would like to mitigate this by implementing interesting gameplay to do whilst in supercruise.

That's it? I've got half your playtime and have at least 400 in super cruise, i got over 50 just doing th hutton CG. Go exploring, you'll get real comfy in supercruise.

And if it weren't for supercruise you'd have exhausted all the "content" of a regular game after about 100 hours (if you're lucky).

I got bored of FPSes after Quake as it was all just the same thing with different scenery being pushed past my viewport. Negotiate maze, shoot the foreigner, negotiate maze, push the button, negotiate maze, operate lift.

I have probably all of maybe...maybe 100hrs into the game and I have played since early 2014. Real life just keeps getting in the way. :(

I am an old man. I drive 30mph on the highway with my blinker on for atleast 3 miles before my exit. And I think supercruise drags on like infinity when you are chasing a uss or just trying to get to the station.

You realise that Supercruise is the same thing with the same scenery being pushed past your viewport.. right? :p

Ok,if that's not what you wanted that's where researching the product would've saved you time. Though with 1500 hr's spent it seem'd that's just a VERY small knitpick.

That's such a nonsensical response.

I don't know where on the ED website they spotlight all the time you spend in supercruise and 400 hours is over 25% of his entire gameplay experience, and if that's not significant then I don't know what is.

You seriously think they should make it more clear that a significant amount of your time in this game will be spent travelling in space?

This might be the silliest forum I've ever been a part of.

The complaints can be ludicrous.
