I think you should challenge the new system architect for a 1v1 and after you beat them (that might require a little practice but the DOJO is there for you) you become all seeing in your new domain.I understand that. But i lost being a system architect because of a bug, not because i let the build time-frame elapse (which is 4 weeks, by the way). I deployed the beacon well within the allowed time-frame of 24 hours but no colonisation ship was deployed. So I thought there might be a delay so i waited until the next day.. I WAS assigned the system architect for some time, because another player noticed and asked me about it approx 12 hours later. So when i logged in the next day, hoping to see the colonisation ship, i had been removed as system architect for another player!. Very frustrating!
CQC style? That sounds infinitely more entertaining than what has been delivered. Elite: Thunderdome!I think you should challenge the new system architect for a 1v1 and after you beat them (that might require a little practice but the DOJO is there for you) you become all seeing in your new domain.
Maybe mix it with various competitive elements of the game, like Bucky Ball race, mini hauling cz, exobio, ... so it's not biased towards any particular loop. The 1v1 aspect is difficult to make fair between two random players with different schedules, locations, connection speeds, but there's got to be a better way of flipping a coin.CQC style? This is an atypical situation today, some CMDR glitched the system to cheat it and built a bunch of things without paying the resource cost or time investment, so Fdev turned off the ENTIRE colonization system for everyone. So you still have your system it's just "turned off" till Fdev fixes the glitch.I was named system architect after spending 25 million credits and deploying a beacon. and the next day now i am not. I thought it was a bit strange because after deploying the beacon no colonisation ship showed up. Granted, this is a beta, but am i going to get my 25 million credits back???
Now we can see in real time how social media can lead to claims becoming facts. Don't fight it, enjoy the show. This speculation over an exploit being used is just an assumption being made. There's a claim, but nothing substantiated.
Similar to me, had the system for 2 days, completed the primary outpost last night, just logged this morning and I ain't the boss, no architect, outpost still there with same name.
Greetings Commanders,
We're investigating an issue where your System Architect status may appear to be lost. Whilst we investigate, please be assured your systems, status and progress are not lost!
This is a visual issue, no progress has been affected so there will be no need for any rollback.
Thanks, was too busy wiping coffee of my keyboard to see any dev posts xDSee recent dev posts here:

You mean an Ironman contest ? Winner becomes System Architect, loser's account is wiped ? Nice.Deathmatch for all registered claimants!![]()
More like Highlander the duels continue until there is only one! System Architect in the game. You mean an Ironman contest ? Winner becomes System Architect, loser's account is wiped ? Nice.
Yes i did, and still no colonisation ship appearedsilly question maybe, as well as placing the beacon did you also place a outpost to build? I thought the sequence was claim->becaon->buildable placed. When I did mine I did that process in quick succession. After chosing to build and outpost the colonisation ship showed up 3 mins larter. The way the first post reads it seems expected a colonisation ship to showe up after just placing a beacon.
Players will always find a way to exploit a poorly deployed feature (not surprising someone found something to exploit during this beta). I don't blame the players. It is a shame that their exploit may mean they still keep what they gained, however.Great. Some dbag ruined it for the rest of us.
