I have the impression Frontier developers are tired of working at this game

May I remind you that you attested the whole dev team a lack of passion because one word is misaligned under certain circumstances? Mr. Hyperbole... :)

The problem is never what mistakes they make. People make all kinds of mistakes and we know that. It is the time it takes for FDev to decide to look and fix the issue. Remember that /n thing in galnet thargoid activity report? How long was it before it got fix eventually?

On the other hand, if they rush out a patch for every wrong line in fluff, imagine what else might break by that...

Small mistakes, but a lot of them.
The one in OP is only fluff, indeed, but in the Nav Panel - station info - apropiate pad size... well this is rather unpleasant.
And they were really proud of this change in the stream for April Update, but I found it to work only for small ships - where is not necessary at all

See the below SS, there is me in my Corvette checking if my destination had appropriate pads. Apparently it doesn't, yet soon after taking the picture I landed at that station.
So it doesn't work for large ships and apparently it doesn't work for mediums either since i'm docked at Chomsky Terminal and that panel is telling me it doesn't have appropriate pads for my Krait

Edit: and I don't even know if this one is reported on issue tracker

The original design wasn't even a bug. People complained that the font size is too small and they changed it based on feedback within 10 days. That doesn't seem like a lack of passion to me.

Oh god the people you find in this forum. Looking around at every nook and corner to belittle, disregard and silence people who have different opinions. The fact I joined the forums 2 years ago does not mean I have been playing ED for only 2 years. Did the thought crossed your mind before your impulsive reply? Disgusting behaviour.
I never implied that you only started playing the game two years ago. I just said that you joined the forums two years ago, which strongly suggests that you aren't aware about lots of the other issues people experienced before you joined the forums simply because you weren't aware of these issues. There is nothing disgusting about it, if anything your toxic reply is disgusting.

Given the quality the patches and the included breakage recently, i think they are just out of their depth.
Whats the saying? Never assume malice ...
I think in this case it would be "Never assume boredom when stupidity will suffice as a explanation."

I’ll never stop repeating: if you are unsatisfied, vote with your wallet. Quit buying cosmetics and when the Messiah Update 2020 comes out wait for opinions/tests/reviews before pressing BUY.

This is the only way that we as consumers can influence the progress of the game (since we have seen that “suggestions” have a very limited impact).

nope, I see my criticism as (somehow) constructive. I like the game, I just want them to be more careful with QA.
And in the meantime I still support them because I want a better game and since this is not subscription based... well, you get the idea.

Frontier and passion? Bahahahahahahah that's funny. The only people who have even hinted elite has a personal connection to them are Steve Kirby, Dav Stott and David Braben when hes roleplaying at conventions. Everyone else is more like the game dev rendition of frozen after coming back from catholic church on sunday. Or the people you're more inclined to see at a metro pub on a friday, as far as possible away from video games.

I'll eat whatevers customary when i see anyone else show genuine interest in elite.

My hair is dyed green in real life, but I only see it when I look in the mirror. I still dye it green though. :)

Mistakes were made in the last update / patch, fair enough (and yes, a couple of bugs I see are annoying) some were squashed and others added, but I can still enjoy the newer additions while poodling around doing my own thing, no big deal.
The title of this thread is a little dramatic but served its purpose to bring in the punters :) Popcorn on the bar...
Unlike the OP, I'm pretty satisfied that the team working on maintenence/updates/patching are happy enough with their work, while the majority of the coders/designers are busy on the 'next big thing' mistakes will happen and get put right, maybe not on a timescale to satisfy some though.

Yes, I vote with my wallet, so bought a couple of bits from the store last night, just because I wanted to...

Have to agree, there’s a signs of neglect and poor coding in particular in the latest patches. Art design is still keeping pace with expectations but some of the game design, missions again and general UI is being run down. I feel FD are spending their community credit, which seem quite high on this game. I just hope the community starts taking note in an objective sense and realise that FD are a profit making company that will deliver only enough to keep them spending. I really think they may need to look at the gameplay again in particular missions which have no link between credits and difficulty.

My current stance is no more money until I see something worthy of it... haven’t seen much for years now to justify the amount I’ve already spent on cosmetics. But saying that the projects released by the company hint that this may change for future expansions. Here my list to end on a positive note:

- Jurassic World
dinosaurs and nastier dinosaurs....
Genetic mixing. Good for the RNGs of more nastier dinosaurs
Basic hunting/ranger gameplay
Interaction animations
- planet zoo
Lions and buffalo
Terrains and environments
- planet coaster
Used the basic building blocks to create the above,
Crowd movements and animations
Trees and environment modding
Over and out CMDRs
