I knew it couldn’t the this easy … Modified Guardian Weapons!

Decided to grab some Guardian Weapon Blueprints and other mats in order to unlock some additional Modified Guardian Weapons.

Ideally after 2 more Medium Plasma Chargers, a couple of Smalls in case I wanna roll a Chieftain and the 4 of the Shard Cannons ‘cause they look like fun.

Done the blueprints - dead simple and quite fun.

Now … where actually sells them? Just Mbooni, now, you say? Well that’s a long way … wait … I need a permit … who do I have to get that from? T Tauri? Where the ens is that … HOW FAR …

Then you need the blue JY785-c form from the orbital dock around the B star but to get that you need the yellow FN924-g from Hutton Orbital but the clerk is only available during the week in office hours except Tuesdays, Bank Holidays and periods of industrial action.

There is a megaship (Glorious Prospect) one jump from Mbooni that you can run missions for to get rep and the permit. It's located in LHS 1163. Run missions for the faction Azimuth Biotech.

Yeh … I’m at LHS 1163 now refitting my Phantom for some mission running.

Gonna try a Cargo delivery mission and a mega ship scan mission then rinse/repeat whichever seems most efficient. Hopefully there’s no fighting involved in the second one (it says Threat 0) as I have literally no weapons and only paper shields!

Honestly, it’s like Fdev don’t want anyone to do the new content!

Only one Cargo and one Megaship scan mission available me ATM. Well, plus a mining mission but that ain’t happening!

I did fly to T Tauri, bc I still had a bunch of exploration data I could sell them to be instantly Allied. The Megaship didn't have Cartographics, else it would have been much quicker of course.

I recently did the Azimuth grind after getting back from Colonia 2wks ago. Took a day of casual play to become fully allied had no rep with them prior. Took another day to grab the 16 weapon fragments and had all the salvation weapons I wanted easy. I have a fc and can lazily bounce around so my definition of easy is likely different then the op's.

Not that, you have to scan the ship uplink.

What you scanned was probably a hackable data link.

There's usually a 'Ship Uplink' and something like 'Hackable Data Arrays'.

Okay … will try that! I found a Ship Uplink but it wouldn’t let me scan it.

You select the megaship and press button #2, then find the uplink on the contact list and, at 200m range max, press it again. It's really dead easy.

Reading the log suffices for accomplishing the mission. About the Hackable Array, I'm not sure. Reading the ship log only keeps your vest clean and safe.

Okay … will try that! I found a Ship Uplink but it wouldn’t let me scan it.

It has a minimum scanning range of 200m.

Would be nice if FDev provided a tutorial on that...

I just ran a few data missions to get rep up enough to unlock the boom trade missions. a 200-232 tonne cargo python works great for this.
