Modes I know I'm beating a dead horse, but we need official PvE servers

I love how one side is constantly harassed and badgered by the other (ingame and out) and when they get snippy over it they are slandered (aka carebear/snowflake/etc) and considered hateful, salty, mean hearted, etc.. I'm sorry but that is absolute horse manure, can some be yes, the same for some on the "other side".

This "hate and toxicity" you claim comes from the "anti-pvp" crowd...apparently you need to read the forums more. Because for years, again and again... ONE side has been trying to take features away from others in the game and it has not been the so called "anti-PVP" crowd. Many PVErs including myself have tried to find ways and offered suggestions on how to make PVP more inclusive. Yet which "group" wants benefits more in the mode they frequent than the other modes? Which group loudly vocals that Power Play should be only for their mode, that had to be reminded again and again that even when it was suggested Power Play may be restricted that the Background Simulation would not be and yet vocal proponents of one side continued to hammer that BGS should be restricted to their mode. Which side keep trying to turn Elite into "EvE in a cockpit" and force all players into THEIR mode... will give you a hint... it isn't the "anti-PVP" crowd.... and hell there really isn't an "anti-PVP" crowd... there are those who want PVPers to play in their version of the sandbox and they would like equal version of the sandbox for them. But hey... if one side keeps looking for equality and more options for letting people play their way and the other side keeps trying to force everyone to their playstyle.... you will eventually get a "anti" crowd like you claim exists already... who will backlash and push for eliminating that playstyle since it apparently can't play nice with others.

Yes there is the occasional someone when into open got killed and complains, but you are ignoring a crap load of stuff and dumping on the PVE crowd and this "care bear/ Snowflake" is blatantly tired of putting up with it.

You're right on a couple points and I should have been more clear about who I was talking about.
Not all carebears/snowflakes/anti pvpers are toxic, you're right and I should've been more clear about that but the only people that come to this forum to shame and call names are players from the anti PvP group.

If you think the anti PvP crowd hasn't been actively trying to take features away from PvPers than your head is in the sand. I've seen far more threads and posts stating that they want PvP removed entirely than I have pvpers trying to take something away from the pve crowd.

Power play should've been an open only, PvP specific system to begin with but thats an argument for another day.

I'm sorry Mouse but I don't see nearly as much hate, shaming, name calling coming from the PvP community, only the anti PvP community.

Also don't overlook the fact that I did say pvpers aren't completely innocent. The way they respond to the hate and shaming is unacceptable as well and I admit that I have been guilty of this on many occasions.

I probably can't "show you all the threads" as iirc it's against the rules to name and shame, but there's certainly many on Reddit, and numerous combat logging threads from gankers moaning, naming and shaming (with videos and screenshots).

Listen, I'm not saying that pvpers/griefers/gankers can't be toxic at times and I'm fully willing to admit that I can be toxic at time but there is no one more toxic and and hateful than a select few, anti-PvPers on this forum. I could even tell you exactly who they are but I won't because I don't want to stoop down to their level.

Ill have no problem explaining why either.

First off they are lame excuses. Claiming PTSD has an impact on them if its a hollow square that blows them up. When there is a thargoid invasion, or pirates and plain NPCs attack them in the game as well. Its a poor excuse.

Especially in a game called Elite Dangerous.

People just want to keep their competitive edge and not lose between player groups or powerplay staying in a safer mode.

Then we had some guy that cried like child because their 39th birthday got ruined when a developer wanted to balance a game.

The same guy that had to have their wall of information adjusted by multiple people because they conveniently left things out while everyone else called BullCrap on what they had to say.

I just dont think some of those people expected to get called out on their childish nonsense all over losing conditions in a video game.

If ANYONE brought it to a personal level. It was those guys who acted like that to begin with.

Some of those guys were here years before I came around. Pulling their same garbage.

The community discords laugh at them. Childish excuses like that ripple through the community.

We might even blow someones space pixels up and say "well that certainly ruined someones birthday".

Last night, I got my Anaconda, upgraded it a teensy bit (Still mostly stock though) and had a rebuy in case something happened. Private server my friends and I are on bugs out and we switch to open to meet up in a station. I literally do one jump, get interdicted by a Fed in an Imperial ship, and get blasted to bits... What do these people actually get out of it? a sick sense of accomplishment? I now have to play extra careful until I get my rebuy back... [knocked out]

At no point have I nor many "cared ONLY about ourselves". If we have we would have said "screw PVPers". Yet we haven't We've tried to find ways to co-exist, find ways for PVPers to have more fun in the game. Yet ALL you can do is throw a temper tantrum like a child and spout so much bull manure that I need to get waders and a shovel to get through it all.

You want to talk about hurting the rest of the community? OPEN ONLY that is what will hurt the rest of the community... the way it is now or even if they ever did a PVE server wouldn't hurt the community, PG's like Mobius would go away, but those who wanted to play in Open, just like they do now, WOULD STILL BLOODY BE THERE.... you ignore that, but forcing others to play YOUR way... now that will hurt and shrink the community.
