...I like earning money.

I do WANT more credits. I just want to make them playing the game. If Frontier simply added credits to my account, I don't get the satisfaction of earning it. It's just what I said; earning money is how I have fun, not by having it magically added to my account.

Another part of that is money gives you the freedom to do what you want. When Frontier add other content I enjoy, I'll use those "useless" credits to buy stuff that will inevitably cost more than it needs to, or for the rebuy of my larger ships if/when I manage to wreck them.

But by your own words you already have more credits than you need.....

And you can make plenty of money playing the game. I'm not saying that missions for example couldn't do with more work on the risk/reward front. Some of those are pretty out of whack. But money is easy to make these days. So, not sure what your issue is here anyway.

When Frontier add other content I enjoy

What content do you enjoy now? I mean, for the enjoyment of doing it, rather than the credits?

Reporting in on bulk transport mission to a station 1.6m ls from the star.

Made 70m in a trip with ~120 passengers. Took a while to load up and ~40 min to get there and had to deal all interdictors catching up to me at the same time as I slowed down towards the station. System security eventually arrived, so got some assist there.

Won't do this often, but might do it once in a while to top up coffers.

Well latest single run netted 137m, still not allied with all yet.

So I can work out the destination for this run but not your starting point. Is it space station or planetary port please. I spent last night searching but most I got was 50 million from one location and the missions were few and far between with 20 minutes of board hopping required.

I have no idea what your beef is here. I simply asked OP how they would feel if FD gave them a pile of cash. Would they stop playing? Would they still continue focusing on credit? Or would they change how they play?

I asked a question, i'm waiting to see if OP answers. That is all.

You got caught with your pants down, don't try to play it off.

Your answer to OP pretty unambiguously lamenting the lack of high risk + high reward options resulting in what they feel is a "boring" experience, is to ask them how they feel about a zero risk + ultra-high reward option? Yes, very reasonable question. Cuts right to the heart of the complaint.

If - really - if what you're trying to get at without quite saying it, is that they have the "wrong" motivation for enjoying the game, I'd like to remind you of something:

Only if that's the angle you're trying to take here. If it isn't though, would you mind explaining how that "innocent" "win-button" question addresses the OP's complaint? "These recent changes make the game less enjoyable for you? How would you feel if these changes were really taken that much further?" Silly me, for finding your question a bit obsolete and trollish in the context of actually discussing OP's complaint.

Exactly what he was insinuating. I thank you for your service commander. o7.

The Robigo runs were the best trill/action there was it was win or lose being chased by the cops and sneak past the security at the station was just fun to do and would be nice if the dev’s put it back in and Evan do it the other way round going from the bubble out 1000ly now that we have engineered fsd.

Yes but if your run takes 2-3 hours to complete, i.e. board hopping, travel time, then credit/hour seems pretty lackluster.

I estimate 1.5 hr rather than 2-3 as there are some systems with nearby stations that you can 'hop' to collect passengers.

The inbound journey is ~40min and I had 3 enemies all drop on my fight with the 4th.

Cr/hr is good if you have an active hi pop system where you are allied with the fractions and they are all in a state. You get rebels, prisoners, business persons, politicians, tourists, refugees, etc.

I'd suggest we keep quiet about this one, since

1. Divulging such intel will make the forums go nuts with "exploit, plz nerf" and FDev surprisingly listens to "nerf the money" stuff

2. Any sensible person can learn how to find those systems with a bit of in-game experience and knowledge of out of game tools such as eddb.

Edit: all I can say is, filling the SardineConda takes average 30-40 minutes and the round trip takes 45minutes tops. Max I've done in a full cycle was 145m Cr.
