I love the new rtjp dlc but!

I like the DLC, but I do think there's room improvment. Being able to mix and match in creative mode is an absolute must. Challenge mode and the base game's campaign don't really make sense to me and I like the idea of doing a JW and JP style Nublar in Challenge mode and seeing how well I do with one compared to the other. Beyond that, the new decorations absolutely belong in all facets of the game.

in its current state it's a COMPLETE NO-BUY HANDS-OFF for me until or if they add the option to mix and match JP assets with JW assets for ALL modes not the 2 dumb restriction to sandbox and challenge only mode we all know and love. if you could imagine seeing this in your park while playing the vanilla base campaign would any of you say no? i think not.

No they better not plus I hope Comcast or Universal says no to this idea .

There have been alot people saying"when the 93 dlc comes out, i'll never use the world buidlings, items again".

I was thinking the same but after i played the campaign and seen all the buildings etc.I must say it is not enough to abandon the world stuff. There are no viewing galleries of any kind and only hand full of buildings. So what you can build with the new jp style is rather limited.
The tour is the only way for guests to view dinosaurs.Even in the jp movie while they are siting at dinner you can see projectors showing images of future attractions. They could have done more.Maybe have a boat tour for example.

I will recreate the 93 park but thats it.

A shame but thats how i feel.

no its not limiting at all

My only hope is that they continue adding things to this dlc, with aviaries, toilets and more builidings..
is more fun spending time in JW than JP

then perhaps you can care to explain this to me: what is the logic behind this dumb 2 mode restriction only anyways? it makes no sense.
One word:

Cohesion (to execute the best JW experience and for other deeper business reasons that you probably don’t know about. Sandbox mode is the only possibility of mixing both together, and I’m still kinda mixed for Challenge mode.)

At the end of the day this is a game. Its first duty is to be fun. Not accurate before reasonableness.
Almost. It's first duty is to sell a product/franchise. Jurassic World/Jurassic Park in this case. To do that it needs to be fun yes.
Universal can put up any rule they like. They decide what is allowed in their world.

If the game performs poorly, Universal won't sell. If the rules are stupid, one would assume they can change.

Personally, I disagree about them for all modes. Sandbox and Challenge would work, but each campaign is a story thing that, while customizable, they're pretty focused...especially with all islands as sandbox now.

I would like to see a variation of the sign for JW era that is placeable that's a mix of the JP sign and the big entry gate one in JW.

This is a sensible approach.

Maybe Frontier will add the option to mix later on, i can't believe we'll never get the option to mix at least some of the items.

Plus theming a park as being built up through time or rebuilt older assets kind of makes sense, potentially having the option for the island in campaign where you're rebuilding a failed park utilize JP assets for the pre-built stuff if you have RTJP
