I Made 25 Million Credits Today

Uh no on the rank point

you should only gain rank by knowing what to do with the great big cargo hold

on the relations point, the nr and value of missions is already reflective of your relations, although large missions could be more frequent. Currently largest I've picked up is 86t with an Allied faction

Well, "large" missions don't cut it either, because all I got yesterday was to do outpost deliveries, whioch sort of defeats the point of getting "big" missions. (I type "big" because a 150K mission isn't any better than a regular haul if there is nothign additional to take to that station)

People grind routes because first and foremost it is reliable.
Missions are unreliable:
-Random spawns
-Random targets
-Lots of them are small ships only by the virtue of having outposts as delivery targets.

Care to enlighten us on this trade route?
Why is it people are unable to look for themselves, seriously ?

Trade routes are flattening as soon as you have put them in one of those crazy tools. So my advice is not to use them. Thats one of the best features in the game so far and I hope FD will flat the markets faster when they are used by more and more people. Otherwise the guys that are searching for and developing those routes have no advantage against the tool-users.

And yes - theres always an advantage...

Well, mine is up now since 36 hours with 2600/t now and 2750/t when I found it and it is on one of those "crazy tools". I guess it depends hardly on the fact that 80% of the ED population seem to life within 50Ly of Sol and then wonder why no decent trade routes stay up for longer then 2 hours ? Move your lazy bums away from Sol and all is good.

Type 9. It limits you to the big stations, so I imagine you do lose out on some even better routes. but 500 tons of cargo space more than makes up for it.

In a type 7 now, with a route that fetches me about 2,300 creds per ton, per run. And that's using stations, with only 2 jumps AND, even better is the less than 15LS from the star I have to go for each station :D

I think the point about the rares was many people are salty because they will have to play the game for an extremely long period of time in order to play with the big ships, the beta players not only got to experiment with the ships for testing purposes when they were cheap, but they also had a vastly increased speed of attaining them for release.

No it doesn't effect these people that someones flying around in solo mode in a python, but maybe they also want to fly a python but know that it will now take them a pretty momentous timeframe to fly one as probably the only "fast track" has been changed.

For myself i'd much rather not have a fast track, though I also think rares sound like the worst idea I can think of and trading is either far too lucrative, or the other roles are far too poor =). Either way i'll enjoy working my way up slowly!
