A grain of sand is dropped from a great height onto a still pond of water from the hands of a furry one eyed Lion.
As it breaks through the surface ripples begin to flow outwards covering the once clear surface.
As they reach the side of the pond they are compelled to return to the centre creating more ripples as they collide with each other.
The once still pond is now awash with ripples reflecting off of each other, what was once calm is now a stormy sea.
As time slips by the ripples loose energy & momentum, they die down until all again is calm & still.
The grain of sand gently settles on the bottom of the pond with the rest of its kind. “Did I cause that?” wonders the grain of sand, chuckling to itself.

You have been asked to buy some beer from the shop for a friend.
He's going to pay you £10 for the beer but it will only cost you £7.50. Profit!
On the drive to you're friends with the beer three cars begin following you.
Eventually one pulls up in-front of you blocking you're path. The other two form a box around the car keeping you blocked in.
The chap from the lead car comes over to your window & asks “Can we have some beer please or we will kill you.”
This is Code.
Walking home one night you are approached by another person, he says nothing despite you saying “Hello!”
Suddenly you get hit over the head with a lead pipe.
The next you know you're in hospital.
This is Code.
Over the last 30 days I have taken a 'break' from the forums but I kept on reading each & every thread but found that only one group makes for entertaining threads. Code.
These simple words “Please sir can I have some stuff for free” are words that strike terror into the hearts of players, forum readers go insane & the player base runs around like headless chickens. A few try to band together to beat back the petty thieves but always with a lack of gusto or enthusiasm from the outraged masses.
I am one of the players who wanted them gone, was prepared to battle their minor faction in solo but I am now in favour of the Code's activities... I get bored at work & enjoy reading the drama, its funnier than project creep reports or reading the same arguments over again, not that these should stop as new players join the game all the time & have the right to debate these topics just as much as you did back when time began.
Over to you Code monkies, I await the next chapter of drama & counter point by the furry amateur psychologist/word-smith who will no doubt be undermined by the voice of hubris & supported by the one eyed Lion who made this whole enjoyable mess possible.
As for me, I promise to keep poking you with a big stick at every opportunity & who knows, I may even come into open more during CG's just to see what PvP is all about
