Hi... I have a 17.000 hours cmdr on steam.
But I want to change the cmdr's name...
I also have an epic games cmdr whit the name I want to use on steam... this has to do whit a you-tube channel I have...
Sooo how to proceed ?

First I don't care about the progress but steam cmdr has 12 billion on the bank and pre payed ships and if a delete the save I lose all the credits...
Option 1= I ask frontier if they cam swap the cmdr's name...
Option 2= I tranfer the credits to the epic cmdr true fleet carrier then delete and rename steam cmdr to do the credits swap again... or is there Option 3 ? Thanks for any feedback on this... o7

Option 2 won't work - you can't create a CMDR with a name that another account has already used at any point.

Option 1 might work if you can prove to Frontier that you own both accounts.

Ask Frontier. Just to have a bit better chances not to mix things up - First ask to change the name on Epic CMDR, to free up your desired name (maybe add that there will be a second ticket and all the reasons for the switch). The second ticket - reference the first and ask to switch to that name. Or one ticket with everything and hope for the best :D

If it won't work out - partial Option 2 - transfer what you can to Epic CMDR and start over. Maybe with Vanguards you'll be able to transfer more than just credits, but it's unknown for sure at the moment.

Mention up front the reason (that you want to do some streaming for YouTube.) It's a great reason that makes the strange request instantly understandable, and streaming benefits FDev which might tip the scales if the request was teetering on the edge of the "too hard" bucket
