I Paid Full Price...

YEP! They do indeed.

Every time I see a thread like this here or in other gaming forums I visit I often think to myself, "Self - anyone who thinks grown men don't play dress up with their dolls just plain isn't paying attention". The only difference between a man sweating how his ship, holo-me, tank, plane or car in a game looks and a 6 year old girl playing dress up with her dolls is that the girl is honest about it.

And before anyone breaks out their flame thrower and points at me with their finger on the trigger - I'm just as picky about the way I dress my cars and ships as the rest of ya. ;)

Come over to Guild Wars 2....the whole game is about paper doll dress up!

I honestly said it looks wrong. I wouldn't say I'm sweating over it, more like having some fun with it. After all, if we can't laugh at ourselves, we've not earned the right to laugh at anyone else.

Logically; this is funny, because it must mean that the ships, are painted in space, or in flight. I mean, who would do a paint job and leave something like that; off of the work sheet?

I was going to buy some black friday paint jobs, but for whatever reason the store didn't like my Credit card... (I even called my CC company and they told me everything was fine but that the order just wasn't processing). Now I'm glad I saved the money. I dislike half things.

OP, do you attack ships with your gear down? :p

I've used my landing gear in combat situations from time to time. I've never seen it, but I'm told it looks really impressive to see a ship's landing gear impact with and shatter a canopy (friendly "victim"), and to try to snag things like Beluga and Type-10 tails. Seems they like to get caught on everything else, so I figure, why not?

But generally no. The only time I usually see my landing gear is when I've landed on a planet and gone roving about in an SRV. And then.. when I return.. tacky white feet.
