I-Rex is annoying

Never had a problem with Indominus rex, But then I don't dare keep one on Isla Pena. Ol' Rexy was enough of a handful, escaping after every storm, until I got Electric Concrete Walls, And just Tranqed her during every storm. :p
Although my first Indominus rex did kill it's sibling. But then I expected and wanted that to happen. It's kinda cool, if It's actually what happened, when you first breed them they'll tolerate a social of 2, but then change over time. At least it seems that's what happened. :p (really hope it did, because that would be a really cool little detail :D )

I only made one when needed for a mission, then I think I let Rexy kill it off. Far too annoying to keep ;)

Yeah, that's probably the best thing to do, it increases the rating of the rex, and also saves the massive enclosure space needed to house it, much rather have a lot of other dinos, compared to just the indomious Rex.

To be honest, the moment I re-designed the Indominus Rex with less aggression genes, it became tame as a kitten. Only when storms hit, she escapes from time to time, but even that is a rare event.

It looks like Genes do in fact have massive influence on Dinosaur behavior

its crazy how different people have different problems with dinsos, i never had a problem with trex make a big enough enclosure (see how many sqare meters it needs and do it) put in 4 velos with it. never had a problem of course a storm will make him uncomfortable so put him down before storm is approaching the island you have usually time for it before he starts rampage and when storms over wake him up and kiss it.

It's fun that I had problems with some herbivores more than with the carnivores but it was my mistake because the herbivores are a little more complex in the matter of the number of companions that they must have to be happy.
the indominus rex like any other carnivore and even the indoraptor need a large paddock with little forest and some carnivore feeders and live bait.
I think my dinosaurs have escaped more times because of sabotage and storms than for their own cause, just look at the statistics of each dino and try to improve them until it is 100% comfortable.

Pro tip ive seen on here a few times. #1 keep her with some raptor. #2 put as few as 5 goat feeders in the paddock. The constant busy work of killing goats keeps her tame. And she will kill ALL of them. I’ve had to fill 6 feeders more than I’d like to admit. I also add some regular ones sothe raptors don’t steal her goats.

Since Sorna has so much room, I have startet to build double fences in all enclosures. I initially tried double doors too, but the AI seems to fail in finding the rout, so at the doors I connect the 2nd inner wall to the borders of the door. The inner wall is concrete while the outer wall is contrete for the herbis too and electrified contrete for the carnos
