I saw a Dude on Twitch talking commands to his computer to activate ELITE items and such..

Anybody has more info ? looks cool..

Voice attack only $8 and probably the best addition you could make to the game. There's also a guide on the forums somewhere explaining how to get it to work with Elite Dangerous.

Yup VA is great, just make sure to uses decent headset and run the voice trainer a few times, and do a search for Wombats voice profile.

The feedback from the computer ..Does that come with VA or is that something we need to make our own ..i have not installed it "im on a MAC now "
and MAC has great TTS voice's to make them ...

I've tried voice attack but the mic on my Corsair headset is so poor I literally have to yell for the mic to pick up anything I say.
My accent doesn't help matter much :)
If I'd have a better mic this would be awesome. I also play racing games and switching between different fuel mixtures for F1 for example simply by talking to the mic would be awesome.

I dunno why but voice attack really doesn't appeal to me. Maybe it's because my HOTAS has all the buttons covered, but I much prefer clicking on buttons than being forced to wear a headset and shout repeatedly into a mic.

If you have to shout, then you are not setup correctly. I merely whisper in mine and have no issue with recognition.

I also have a HOTA (X52) and yet I find it much more enjoyable to get things like lights, gears, boost, cruise, jump and others by just calling for them as needed, and I don''t have to detract fingers from other sensitive controls - especially when fine tuning is necessary. ;)

Keep in mind....once you open the lid to Pandora's box, you are going to have a blast.

Nearly everything that doesn't relate to direct combat inputs I have slaved to voice now. Really great stuff. Well, I have some combat stuff, but its secret.....:D

I myself now have 28 commands setup for Elite.. its a hoot calling out commands for my different power distribution settings during combat.
