I should be doing this in a wing but I'm not.

Certain variations of the NHS 3 and 4 signal sources can indeed be a bit challenging solo.

However, an engineed Vette should certainly be capable of clearing at least 2 instances, if not several more, before needing to rtb.

If OP would care to share his build I'd be happy to offer some constructive criticism and tips.
I should put it on Corolis and I know I need to change a few things still. I try to post my built soon.

So just got back from a real life adventure...got away from world madness for a good part of the day.
Probably go kill something now for a few hours.

I am not fully G 5. Been trying to say this over and over in this thread but I get it. I am making do with what I have for now.
I hear you. Ever since they buffed the CZ ship attributes so that most of them include engineered features, it is harder to survive for even a short time without engineering.

I do these all the time and stack them. You can take assassination missions for pirates of the same faction and those kills count toward the mm.

Im confused what this thread is about.

A player having fun playing the game as intended and not min-maxing first or doing it the easy way in a Wing.

I understand your confusion, it is rare to see these type of posts here, but it does happen.

but have 6 days to accomplish this

BGS Experts can correct me but I think technically you have up to 6 days, but if the BGS conflict ends after 4 days so does your massacre mission as both sides at peace now. Just dont get caught out :)

Back at her and not sure if it is me or the game but they seem easier to kill now. 32 to go.

Nice man! As a CMDR who always flies solo, this is not at all unreasonable to accomplish and will improve your skills greatly. You can even succeed in these missions with small ships, trust me. The key to these encounters is patience and being able to kite well along with being able to eliminate targets efficiently. Speed and efficiency in bringing each individual conflict from initial shot to pop is crucial, and your build should be to suit this principle alone. Time is of the essence. It's best to deal with ships in order of their speed, fastest to slowest. The slow guys you can effectively ignore as you pick off the faster guys while kiting the mob of slower guys to effectively neutralize their offense. Once the fast guys are taken care of, you can get to work on the slow guys who can't keep ToT. Assuming you are using a fast, nimble ship and fly competently, it's just a matter of time.

Really don't know why they are easier today, only 21 to hunt down now and actually took out a whole fleet this time around.

I've been doing this for a long time solo but I would like to do those in a wing actually because I think you could really do some damage with a wingmate or two and I'm wondering if the payout is the same.

Yeah better in a wing, not sure about payout as it has been awhile since I was in a wing.
I just wanted to tackle this mission on my own. Only have a bakers dozen to go now but think I'm done for the evening.
Had one close call where I needed to retreat against an Anaconda and two Mamba's, shields down to 18%...yeah better beat it out of there, LOL. I am gathering much needed materials doing this and should be able to bring most of my modules to grade 5 after this.

If you are not too worried about sharing your combat experience then you could think about installing a fighter hanger and employing a wingman from your local station. Just having one during the early days can greatly help take some of the heat off you, plus allows you to quickly complete such missions as you'll be more keen to engage winged NPC’s.

Will probably do that next time as just recently outfitted a Type 10 with one but it's not ready yet. Then still have to finish with setting up my bindings.
As of now though I have made more credits then this mission is giving, my Deadly rank is also slowy going up and I'll be ready for a visit with some engineers.

Mission accomplish without a rebuy. Time to collect my bonus and decide what I shall do next which might be another one of these. Or might to some mining to unlock another engineer. This wasn't boring.

Think I shall go for a drive in the SRV before heading back to what is my home, there is an interesting little planet near the station I am at I want to visit first.

I needed to gather materials from the destruction, that is tedious but gives shield a chance to recharge. Other then that I didn't mind it at all, they are way tougher to kill then the plain old wanted ones.
