I know you're a fellow VRED, that V beta thing or whatever it's called won't work without a controller with my DK2 and I don't have one, but that app would be great for space documentaries on long voyages like this.

I was grinding cr for the past few days so that I have enough to transfer my FdL to Colonia. This evening I started the journey to Colonia. I am at Hillary Depot right now. Took me 1 hour or so.

I'm about 3.5k away from Skaudai's outpost. My jump range is only 17.5 so it's slow going.
It doesn't matter how slow it goes. Important is that you enjoy it. Just take your time.
This is my second time to Colonia. First time I took my Anaconda. Now I have an AspX, which I like much better. I plan to stay in Colonia and use it as my base for exploring. I want to go to Sag A* and Beagle Point. And I want to go to the Abyssal Plain. But one step at a time.

How much damage? I did the whole trip in a Cobra IV before outposts were there, and had 50% hull left after the first 2,000 lyrs because of an argument with a mountain on a planet. Reminded me to use shields when approaching planets !
But you can do the rest of your trip to the nearest outstation ok, I should think.

@ 80% hull I believe. Luckily I hit boost early enough to mitigate most of the damage. I'm pretty sure I would have popped if I hadn't though.
Not too bad then. You could do the whole journey with that kind of damage.

I have shields, 80% after knocking the shields out. If I hadn't nose upped and boosted I think I would have died.

Made it to Sacagawea (or however it's spelled) outpost. So half way there....
I am about 1200Ly away from Sacagawea. I guess I will be there in 2 hours or so.
If you see a red ASP X with Christmas decoration, that's me.
I may stick around that outpost for a bit, just to break the monotony. I'm in a black Keelback Cmdr. Paul Bryant
