I think I have forgotten all I know.

When I start a new habitat for my animals, I never stop until the animals are completely happy on all fronts, especially shelter. This grizzly bear was the first habitat I made, so I took especial care for it. But something has changed, or I am completely wrong about everything.

I trust my grizzly's judgement on everything, but now I lost it. Can someone tell me what is wrong, or went wrong on this shelter? I opened it a little more, and that did something. There are currently 3 bears in this enclosure. Two adults and a cub.

Rocks have a very big hitbox, that prevents them from entering small places.

Check the "traversable area" heatmap for the bears to check if they can really enter that cave/shelter.

I had the same issue in Beta

It was perfect when I created the shelter, and all items I place seems to level the terrain anyway. Can't get into franchise at the moment, but I get back on it when I can.

But the 27% may mean it's not big enough. I had only 2 bears when it was created.

Thank you very much. I think making it bigger will help :)

I had a similar thing with my hippos. I used the premade blueprint and it says 100% hard shelter. Next thing I know they're upset because hard shelter requirement is 20 something percent. I moved the shelter to the middle of the habitat and it went back up to 100%. Check back later and now it's at 60 something percent. Um what!?
