I came to a void opal hotspot yesterday and all I was finding was those three. I returned to base to reload and replenish limpets, then came back and it was as if I was scanning a different hotspot .... void opals, void opals, ltds .....

So if you run into that problem with the hotspot, maybe just leave it and re-enter?

Yea, you could be right. I believe it's the RNG instance thing again. Same thing happens in HazRes - initial spawns scarce puny ships. Couple of re-logs later and get a bunch of wings, one group of 4 elite Anacondas. Trying to take those 4 down was a lot of fun....

I had a really bad run in my usual void opals hotspot today ..... kept scanning and scanning .... absolutely nothing ... wasted close to 20 prospector limpets on teaser rocks.

So I relogged ....... and ...... opals, opals, opals ... so many I had to dump limpets in the end.
