An ideal roster for me depends entirely on how Frontier handles current & new mechanics in a potential PZ2.
If current exhibit species aren’t freed from the box then I’ll pass on pushing for more small species, though I greatly want them. If flying species are kept in walkthrough boxes, I’ll pass on pushing for those too. Same goes for fully aquatic species if they are relegated to pre-defined/plop-down tanks like JWE has. And this is coming from someone who mainly wants animals that’d likely fit into the above categories. What separates Frontier’s Planet games from their predecessors (Tycoon series, etc.) is their ever-expanding customization/free-build options. Expanding these type of features for all species in PZ2 is what I’d want most.
