Community Event / Creation If Elite: Dangerous was a beer, what type would it be?

Ok so Elite Dangerous is a dark, rich ale similar to that of Wychwood Hobgoblin or Adnams Broadside.

I'll throw together a recipe and get brewing!

Any further thoughts on a name?

What about something like 'Jameson's Ghost' or something like that?

Actually thats not a bad idea making an ale and giving it an Elite theme, quite fancy trying my hand at home brew(on my list for Xmas)

How about, from a local brewery here - The End of History - 55% alcohol, served from bottles inside dead animals (roadkill)!

Fortunately (I think the roadkill was pushing the boundaries of taste myself) that's sold out, and so is the 41% Sink the Bismarck so how about some Tactical Nuclear Penguin at a pleasant 32%?

The relevance to ED - it'll blow your mind!

£35 a bottle! damn has to be a killer beer...actually sounds right up my street and you got me thinking Xmas present ....had a few punk IPA bottles from them and is quite good, nice site gonna have a little look round, cheers for the link :smilie:

jabokai look what have you done, ive just found they are offering shares in the company till the 22nd Jan and am very tempted! Shares in a brewery always fancied that!
