Heh,
It's probably harder to pick
two ships to fly than to pick a single one.
Wih one ship, the Krait 2 would be a no-brainer for me (the other acceptable answer would, of course, be "Python").
With
two ships, though, you start to think about having a ship that specialises in something or other.
Would it be a ship to go exploring in? A ship for combat? A ship for trading?
I really, really like my Corvette and if I had one as a "second ship" I could use it as a "battle cruiser" and I could convert it into a mining ship and cargo hauler.
I dunno though.
Alas, once again I'd probably go with the enirely predictable choice of Krait 2 and Anaconda.
Between them, the K2 can dock anywhere and it's a terrific all-rounder while the Annie is decent enough at combat, hauls a decent amount of stuff
and, once you put it on a diet, there's no better ship for flinging yourself around the galaxy.
Incidentally, I guess that give DeLacey the trifecta of ships I'd use in preference to all others.
Small: Cobra 3 - fast, tough, decent slots and it's a Cobra.
Medium: Krait 2 - As above but above average jump range and decent hardpoints.
Large: Anaconda -
Not fast but tough, decent slots, decent hardpoints and exceptional jump range.
Funny thing is, in reality the S/M/L ships I fly most often are actually the iCourier, Phantom and Corvette.

That's cos they're especially good for the things I
choose to do with them, though.
If I was forced to pick one ship in each class, it'd be the DeLacey ships instead.
