If you had ONE bug fix you could wish for, which one would it be?

Got to say, what really bugged (hur hur) me for some time now is that any gameplay associated with megaships is pretty much off limits because looting is broken, and since I built a few ships with a focus on piracy/salvage, this kind of sucks, like, a lot. A whole gameplay loop that had to be designed and programmed by several people, AWOL, broken, unloved, for what seems to be what.. a year now?

So this would be the one thing I'd want Frontier to fix if they could only address only a single issue in their next patch, whenever that arrives (and obviously not introduce two new bugs in lieu of it:p).

What would be yours? No long lists of bullet points please, because we all know there are many to choose from - pick ONE.

PS - I'm also not talking about wishlists for features that are not (and will likely never be) in the game (Kenneth this disclaimer is for you ;)) - only talking about bugs.

Not one of the big important game breaking bugs as most of those don’t affect my play.

This one does from time to time and can be quite annoying, it is the one where you target a ship and the three triangle marks don’t appear that mark the target and indicate its direction and status.

First and foremost I would like the fleet of orange sidewinders and scarlet kraits dealt with.

Aside from that the bug I would like addressed is when a selected target in system gets un-selected when jumping to super cruise.
Interesting observation I had last night, I spent the last month or so in Colonia, barely moving my FC (other FCs seem relatively static also), for the first time in weeks I had a Orange Sidewinder error yesterday when I tried to hyperjump in my ship while my FC had a scheduled jump at the same time.

ideally: replace p2p with proper server side connection, get rid of the "all modes are equal" idiocy and turn this into a proper multiplayer world simulation.

more realistically: the damn chevron randomly missing from selected target. i can do without fine, and i can get over bugs, but this one is just annoying because it has been for years and happens every single session, i get it every single time i play at least once.

You are dead on. I'm not convince FC arrival and departures are causing all of the orange sidewinder and scarlet kraits but they definitely contribute to a lot of them.
Yeah, and this was also in a system where there were maybe a couple other FCs present so nowhere near busy enough to consider traffic volumes. Maybe it's a weird syncing issue between client and transaction servers (I obviously haven't got the faintest).

I wish fdev would fix commodity market galmap pricing indicators. We need just a few more people to confirm for it to be voted on yay
I don't know about that... it worked for me previously (buying or selling commodities at a given price from/to a FC) but you're relying on other players to keep things stable for long enough - and we don't know how often the markets are refreshed... if it's a bug fair enough but it could just be a timing difference.

For me it would be the fact that stations in some states are paying well above average price for commodities that are at zero demand, or commodities they actually produce. E.g. military grade fabrics in high-tech station in boom state. And connected to that, selling these commodities with high supply for high price, so that it doesn't make sense to buy it there.

This makes a mockery of the trading economy simulation, when the most basic rules of market economy are broken. Low demand -> low sell price, high supply -> low buy price.

Megaship looting would probably be mine too out of the ones I'm aware of. Some of the megaships have some really interesting cargo that I've never seen anywhere else AND I WANT IT
