Okay please, please, please excuse me for being the resident blonde. I promise I have scoured this board and the pages but I am missing something and I need some help.

Thran sent me awesome easy step by step instructions on setting up EDDiscovery. Been there...
Made and account at EDSM and got my account key, entered it into the settings page

. Done that...
Clicked OK but nothing is appearing in my "History"

Jumped in my trusty explorer and hit another system but still nothing. I can go to "Admin", "Show Journal Files..." and there are many listed in the same directory I linked it to but still EDdiscovery stares back at me cold and lifeless.

I tried "Rescan all journal files" Nadda
I tried resetting the dates on the expedition tab. Noparoonie

I almost tried the "Reset all journal files to current commander" but I chickened out. ::Bawck Bawck:: (My poor attempt at typing chicken noises.)

I raise my hand and admit, it's not the software, it must be something I am doing wrong or not doing at all, and if anyone could help me I would greatly appreciate it.

Again I apologize, I'm not being lazy I really have tried to figure it out.

Have you confirmed the said folder exists?

Also, if it is a steam install the logs maybe located elsewhere.

If the folder is there you could try the last idea in this post https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php/405782-Cannot-find-Player-Journal-log

I don't use this particular tool, but have you tried checking after you've docked at a station? Sometimes you have to be docked for it to sync. Other times it's just a matter of jumping from system to system.

Thank you. It is not the steam version, it is the Oculus version. The folder is there and when I look in the folder it is filled with Journal files.

I'll hit a hop into a few more systems and then head back in tonight and see if it is the need to dock.

In most other non-elite forums etc, I go by Sio... but it wasn't me so...

I'm sorry Ambc, I was so busy bouncing off of planets I forget to tell the fix. It was very simple. He advised me on the History tab to change it to a short time, then back to "all". I then closed and reopened ED and Wallahhh.
