Roll speed is okay, pitch and yaw are almost as bad as the Type 10 that I've been flying recently. And the time it takes to straighten up to do a jump...

The trick is to point the nose in the right direction then hit boost several times, that can take several minutes out of the process.

The real test is, having fitted and fully engineered the 8A thrusters, hit the boost button just as you enter the slot to dock - the resulting experience should be exhilarating.
Especially with all the pips in engines.

Are there any suit or genetic sampler upgrades to be had that would help with exobiology? Do I need to do on-foot content to get them? I imagine there's stuff like shield and energy and stuff like that but the basic suit seems ok to me.

I kept looking until I had an Artemis with extended sprint on each of my accounts. I find that very useful. Some people like to have NV and enhanced jump. I don't think the battery is very important - I often do walk-about to collect samples for two species (so six scans) that leaves me with about 13% battery without using any power packs.

Maybe (i.e. I just use a basic grade 2 suit I found in Colonia), no (sampler is not upgradeable as far as I know). Therefore - no. And since my sampling excursions take at most a few minutes (and usually a few seconds), I don't really care about the suit energy upgrade. As for shields - so far, none of the discovered bio's were shooting at me.

Fleet carriers question. I understand the owner can store stuff on the carrier, but can they give others permission to store stuff as well? Or do you do that by opening up the market to buy and sell the stuff to store, and only allow your friends to dock?

Can you store mined materials on the carrier, and have it still count as mined for missions and engineer unlocks etc?

If I'm out and about on a planet on foot, and I lose my SRV, can I summon my ship? I can't see a way to do it. I had to use the unstuck game menu option.

in your "insight" menu (hold tab?) I think you can select that, also request a taxi etc.

Apparently I have 3 G3 Artemis suits all of which were bought as is, I haven’t done any engineering to suits or weapons. One has no mods, the second has Faster Shield Regeneration and the third has Night Vision which is the one I have been using as I find NV better than the torch in the dark and it seems to me like it drains the power less.
The higher the grade of a suit the better it performs I think.

I think you are OK storing your stuff on the carrier as long as you don’t buy or sell it to speed up the transfer process doing that stops it counting as mined.

I don’t think you can have others just store stuff on an FC they have to sell it to the market and hope it is still there to buy back later.

What am I missing... there's supposed to be a raw material trader at Eidolon Hold on Einheriar 1...

Maybe press the X below Set Filters on the left column?
I don't know, just saying 🤷‍♂️

My reading of the Inara information is that it is an engineers base if you don’t have knowledge of that engineer the base doesn’t show up. In this case it is one of the suits and guns engineers.

Not only the base doesn't show up, in my experience they shoot at you if you come in range.

It's an Odyssey only station. This is indicated on the Inara page next to the station name. If you are playing any version of Horizons you won't be able to access it. Search for another nearby raw materials trader.

Is Stratum really hard to find? All I could find was bacteria, whereas on the last moon I found no bacteria and all Fonticulua.

Is it just RNG which one is rare and which is common, or are there patterns of rarity?
