I'm stranded! No way of plotting a route back

There are two simple, relevant facts here.

1) Systems do not disappear. Period.
2) If you can get to a system you can get back from it. It may require some fuel management, jumping on fumes, etc, but if you got there you can follow the reverse route back.

Try to download EDDiscovery, run it and have it pull your travel logs. Then follow your way back.

+1 vrep Cmdr - excellent advice.... EDDiscovery or Captains Log, both can import logs and allow you to trace back. I had to do this myself when I was 65klys out...

Recommend marking systems use fume jump to/from so you remember to manage fuel loads on the way back..

Thanks for the advice everyone, I did try and use EDDiscovery but I'm struggling with it, we have two versions of the game installed, both Horizons but one via Steam. It seems to confuse third party software as both versions of the game seem to be contributing to the travel history. Also I couldn't use it to track a route back as none of the systems near me were recognised. I can confirm I am now safely back in Terry Port, but only thanks to the Support team, they plucked my ship from space and rescued me.

I do want to thank a very kind commander who PM'd me to offer to come all the way out to me and rescue me, such a kind offer , thanks Cmdr CaptainKremmen :)
