Imperial Astrologers at work again

Once again the Empire has dragged out it's shaman(shamen?) and soothsayers to determine the location of Emperor's Dawn. I imagine many tea leaves were consulted, goat entrails read and chicken livers inspected. No wonder they're having a hard time locating these guys. :D

C'mon FD. Making this mistake once was understandable, but twice in the same context? For shame! :p

Hello Frontier? There is a difference!

Astronomy: The study of celestial objects, including stars, planets, nebulae, galaxies, asteroids.
Astrology: A load of old cobblers designed to extract money from gullible cretins.

Like the Empire know the difference?

Some Loser Bureaucrat: Alright, sir Chancellor, here's the list of exploration data we got from our loyal pilots. Hopefully we can use this to hunt down ED and get some revenge for August.

Chancellor Blaine:
Ah, splendid, splendid. I'll just shunt this data over to my data entry and processing application here.

Bureaucrat:
Very wel...that's an awfully strange interface, sir. What's all these funny symbols? Look like chicken scratch. And what's with this circle and all these lines?

Blaine:
I'm creating an astrological ephemeris. Depending on the output of it's prediction, we should get a good overview of not only where ED is now, but where they have been AND where they're going. Now, let's see...Great Annihilator is in Sagittarius...oh be a sport and fetch me a coffee will you? This will take a while.

Bureaucrat:

Ummm. If the comments section of the BBC website is to be believed after every space science story, Astronomy is also a load of old cobblers designed to extract money from funding councils and hard-working taxpayers. (NB: I don't subscribe to that point of view - but I do need to keep my blood pressure up. :) )
