Wow with enhanced performance drives slapped on & weight kept down (combat fit can still be around the 80t mark) this ship has surprised me it's just the funnest thing to fly ever [heart]

Remember the first time you got inside a courier, looked at the cockpit & thought to yourself 'ooo fancy jet fighter'? This ship actually flys like that (sorry courier).

Can go toe to toe with seemingly anything above its weight as it just flys circles round them, literally! Pythons, anacondas, can't get a bead on this thing full stop unless you screw up. Just watch out for turrets, and fighting wings = no.

The only thing i hate about the iEagle is that i can't change the colour. The first thing i did when i got a courier was paint it black. I know it really doesn't change anything but having a bright white fighter in space makes no sense to me lol

I have my iEagle fitted with enhanced drives and a big FSD upgrade, just for kicks. I love that ship, it is a blast to fly. And it looks wicked. And nothing can catch it (which for me is essential )

I stripped my Imperial Eagle for racing, was great fun boosting around at 630m/s. Then the recent patch hit, reverting distrubutors to their old recharge rates for ENG and SYS so now I can only boost twice before having to sit several seconds to boost again. Kinda ruined the fun for me. Really hope they go over distrubutors again, as going back to the old stats on the ENG recharge side (SYS is fine) was too much. Possibly just have it set inbetween the current and the buffed point.

Yeah I guess there's always engineer modded components if you want to buff the ENG side of the capacitor. I only bought the ieagle yesterday, missed out on the pre-patch days of boosting for days on end, oh well! It's still ridiculous when fully stripped, I had a quick play before combat fitting it. Will probably buy a second one at some point for pure speed fit.

True, but the investment time to be able to modify you distrubtor can be excessive (and also the RNG involved afterward), and one way requires illegal cargo, something I have no intrest in. Also, it will only increase the recharge rate by a maximum of 14% for ENG focused or 29% for Charge enhanced (lowers the capacity however).

Aye it's not perfect but the buff days are gone, that was clearly never intentional so I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for any vanilla distro buff to come back. They're also gonna change how materials work, like hiking the drop rate sharply & tweaking the recipes. So I wouldn't overly worry.

I don't expect them to go back, but that wasn't some accident they were buffed. There was a reason to buff them, and as such I hope they will buff the ENG recharge up a bit (SYS is fine as I said).
