In Game Music Player

This is more of a quality of life thing, but what if there was an in game music player/radio in the dash. Perhaps we could access our own music files or maybe a few Elite Dangerous sponsored radio stations. I am sure player groups like Cannon would be open to broadcasting something over the waves. Maybe even the Devs could have an Elite Radio Station. I know this has probably been discussed before, but I quite musically inclined so something like that would be a nice touch to not only add some more sound to the game but also add to the immersive-ness and connect players to players and players to devs.

I have multiple monitors, with ED running borderless window on the main monitor, and various other tasks on the other monitors (commonly Chrome on one & a music or video player on another). If you have a single monitor the windows key is a quick way to get to the taskbar, alt-tab will let you switch apps easily (again with borderless window enabled).

Unlike some games ED is happy to share a desktop with other apps and does not restrict the mouse, and any included player (or browser) would inevitably fall short of expectations compared to whatever the Cmdr is used to using, I'd leave it to a dedicated app.

This. ED plays nice with other programs, and in-game features will never match the functionality of dedicated music/video players, browsers and what-have-you.

Which music player do you use, OP? Most of them support global hotkeys. With a bit of fiddling you should even be able to bind media controls to your stick and/or throttle if you wanted to.
