In VR cursor won't stop to allow selection in menus

Good morning

Can someone help please,,, Playing in VR. ED odyssey after update 9 this started happening periodically,, after update 10 its constant.. This is only happening in VR,,,

When logging in the menu curser is moving quickly through all selections and won't stop to allow a selection,,, when in the game and docked if you enter the Station Services the cursor immediately moves to the right and stops there, when moved to a selection it wont stop and immediately moves back to the right.....

I have rebooted Oculus,, I have rebooted Steam and I have rebooted the game,,, nothing changes it

Has this happened top anyone else and if so is there a fix

many thanks

Jim

I play in VR only with HOTAS and never had such an issue.
What controls are you using? Is it possible to have something bound and messing with your cursor?

I do have a trim axis button for one axis on my throttle which if i forgot pressed i am constantly wondering why am i going forward on foot without pushing the stick...

Hi virosh.. I use my Xbox controller attached to the PC,,, there has never been an issue with it until recently,,,

I use the default controls on it... I have disconnected the controller with the same results,, I have switched off my key board and mouse ,, same results....

when it was happening periodically the game would be working fine and I would be playing it for a while then landed at a station and opened the Station Service and the cursor would move to the right....

cheers

Sounds like something is hijacking your mouse/controller input.
If you have any additional software for programing your kbd/mouse/joystick - try to disable it before running the game and see the result.
Also what VR headset are you using? Does it come with own controllers? If so try to disable them also and see what happens.

EDIT: By the way, sometimes a Windows update can mess the things up. You should also check what have you updated on your system just before the issue started.

virosh,,, you appear to have hit the nail on the head..... I use a Rift S headset,, just disconnected the VR controllers and it worked fine........ I hadn't thought about them

Many thanks for your help

Much appreciated

Try disconnecting them from the Oculus software and then pairing them again.
Sound like one of them is faulty or for some reason the software is not working properly.
