Inaccessible nebulae- a broken exploration dream

You can jump to white dwarfs, neutron stars, and even supermassive black hole. If a certain region has a low density of stellar and substellar objects you will have difficult to travel through it, there is nothing strange about this. You should try it with an Asp optimized for jump range and if you still can't do it then that's it.

as all these nebulae are planetary nebulae, formed by death of a sun-like star, there should be a white dwarf as remaining component left......
pls frontier......add them.....its unrealistic that there is no white dwarf.....

The Eskimo nebula? The one with GRV whatsit (with the black hole) in it as you head towards Bernard's loop etc? Don't know about the others you mention but this one should be well within the jump range of any reasonably kitted out explorer. I was there on my last trip and I sure wasn't the first.

The Planetary Nebulae seem to, I had one on the Galaxy map but lost it, looking for S & C and WR types
A lot of these nebulae have nothing inside to jump to.

I know there is nothing strange about it, however I think it would be nice to spruce up the areas enough to allow a perfect exploring ship to reach their goal. Nothing wrong with that, right?

Yep, these nebulae need a white dwarf to jump to.

I recognize now that this was a bad example. Take a look at the ring or helix nebula.

Even in space with a lot of stars, sometimes there inst a star in the right place

This is the closest I could get the the Red Spider Nebula, different angles were farther away and made it too small.

Red Spider Nebula....hm...I think I visited it when going from Lagoon to Cat's Paw Nebula. Very small, just a couple of stars.

Yes there are quite a few nebula that you cannot actually get inside of. There are also quite a few that only have a handfull of stars in them, so that you cannot get a good look at the nebula. Would be nice to simply be able to jump to an empty region of space.

Yeah, this is exactly what I want. Lets see these gorgeous nebulae.
