Iam playing on the biosyn map and its way too easy imo
I just got around to testing out the economy in two of the Sandbox maps, Square Biosyn Valley, and the expanded Southwest USA maps. It looks like the Biosyn map, much like the Malta Maps, has too high of ticket sales icome that it makes star progression way too fast.
I made a simple Jurassic World Map with 10 struthiomimus and all basic management needs covered, as well as income from guest amenities to match each other as close as possible:
This is the Southwest Map in sandbox mode with Jurassic Difficulties all around except for income taxes set to medium, I am experiencing an income of $65,865 per minute with ticket sales contributing $29,595. This is appropriate for the very minimal appeal in this park that only consists of a flock of 10 struthiomimus as the only form of entertainment.
This is the Biosyn Valley Square map in comparison and here the income per minute is $175,496 with ticket sales contributing $138,715, almost 5 times that of what you could get from the South West USA map. So much so that it practically made the Biosyn map pass the one-star rating with the same setup.
This has been an issue with the newly introduced maps from the Biosyn and Malta expansions where the ticket sales are so high that it removes the gradual progression of park growth. Here are the issue trackers, the first being Biosyn and the second being Malta:

I hope this could be resolved soon. The Malta and Biosyn Maps, all variants (standard, expanded, and square) suffer from the oddly high ticket income and a readjustment to be similar to that of other maps such as the Southwest USA maps should resolve this issue. For reference, if the number of guests in these parks is anything to go by, a guest on the Southwest USA map is charged about $170 per minute, while a guest heading to Biosyn Valley with the same setup would pay about $780 per minute.
On another note, I do find it odd how the new Square Maps have a total appeal requirement of 7500 in Jurassic difficulty. They are astonishingly huge and could house so many animals compared to other maps, and I thought the appeal requirement in Jurassic settings could be around 150,000 instead. Some smaller-sized maps such as the non-square Biosyn already request a total park appeal of 100,000 when playing with Jurassic difficulty settings, and that is about a third of the map size of these new square maps.
