Increasing space on Nublar should be a priority

What do you mean by that?

There's a steam thread where some guy claims to have removed the island boundaries to open up more space

IMO, this isn't a priority - sure some people might have more grandiose ideas on what they want to do with the islands and what we have might not meet them yet. However the space can easily be utilised to create some good parks

But priority? No. Priorities are things like dino AI improvements, improving they way they judge comfort, better guest interactions/thoughts/etc, sorting the terrain constraint issues and building terrain constraint issues, and general bug/crash fixes

EDIT - If anyone remembers, it didn't take them long to increase the size of the planet coaster maps, so once they have time to settle I'm sure something may well be done

That depends. Might not be a priority to you, but it is to others. I could care less about the Dino AI

This is what gets me - the number of people that want everything now. Can't we just wait a little? There's too many people ploughing through the game so they can build their dream park unaware that they actually need to play the game to do so, and then complain when they reach the sandbox (which granted, does need to be bigger).

The game breaks down after 120+ Dinos. At that point, you have dinos dying constantly. So if the parks were bigger, you could not have a lot more Dino anyway.

Bigger parks with more dinos would require longer lifespans.

Im certain that Nublar is about as big as possible in JWE, mostly because this game needed to be optimised for PC + 4 different console iterations.

If it were PC only I imagine the sizes would be much larger however if you've played Planet Coaster before you might know that large parks can cripple even the mightiest of PCs.

As a PS4 Pro player I'm thankful that Frontier chose to constain themselves for the sake of a smoother experience, it really feels great playing on a console.

Do you have a link to the steam thread?

I don't I'm afraid. Didn't pay attention to it at the time as island size so far hasn't bothered me and mods don't interest me so it passed me by

It's probably buried 10 pages deep by now as well. Maybe just search the forums for map size or island size in the title or content, although you may end up with more than is worth searching lol

And therein lies the problem. what is a priority to you is not to others, what is a priority to me isn't for others and what Frontier's priorities are will get done long before either

People have been experiencing crashes, bugs and glitches that prevent them from playing the game - far more important than one map size. And there are fundamental flaws in other areas too. You might not prioritise dino AI but it's a big deal for most people that are playing this game to experience the dinosaurs, and that's the main focus of this game from Frontier's perspective

I don't doubt that at some point the map size may well be looked into in time.

I also don't doubt that if the map size is increased then we'll have waves of people flooding in here to say "there's nothing to put in my park, it all looks so bare, lifeless, no decorations, can't place toilets"... oh wait, they already are doing that
