Incursion (HELP!!) (group evasion tactics)

New record today - about 9:45-9:51 minutes to complete. Video recorded, about 1 minute faster than the last time.

the problem is most likely you are playing completely different single player build
care to come to my place and dance with them here?

i wanna see how you can do 9th wave, also i saw interesting thing - if you manage to hit precisely then enemies start to freak out and act like idiots, so if you miss couple shots it might turn into death sentence even against enemies that you usually can take out in 5secs

now you made me curious... when I saw that some had soooo much difficult to finish the single missions, I had to re-check what INCURSION was about... I thought I've beaten it all up, when it came to my mind that I jumped that mission to get the last one done! Now hell, INCURSION should have been the very last mission

I just barely get it up to 5th wave... but even re-trying let's me often eject around wave 3 or even 2!!! Now reading here around comforts me a bit, that the AI must be different... I'm only a standard beta player. The AI never misses me, it's very, very hard to get behind 'em...

Anyway, that difficulty level is for me, more a multiplayer one where you're facing pro's

same problem here with single player beta for 60E .

It says Combat 1.0 and i can hardly survive wave 4...

I managed all waves backflying but its more a bug and no real fight..

At least this I know it is possible to do consistently. You can watch some youtube videos and follow their example (it works best if you use a lot of vertical thrust). The fighters are actually much more of a pain in the neck than the sidewinders and cobras. With some practice you'll get it.

I'm starting to believe that we are playing the build with the harder AI. I'd certainly be willing to accept that I'm just not that good, but seeing people never get hit in videos when they move less than I do makes me thing something fishy is going on.

Oh well, at least now I can beat it about half the time. I don't think I'll ever get to the point where I'll get through it with more than 35% hull though.
