I haven't done this sort of thing in a long time so I thought I'd record some gameplay to test the new recording feature on Steam. I wasn't really happy with the speed or quality of the exporting, though, so I decided to go back and do it with good old OBS instead.

The game has come a long way. No real commentary in the video, but here's a rundown of what happens.
42 - Customizing the loadout for an interceptor.
15 - Map usage
10 - Deploying the interceptor and initiation of warp speed.
27 - 3D cockpit. I don't really use it but it's there. Immersion?
55 - Approaching the combat zone in warp.
06 - Final approach in inertial flight. Reaching over 2.5 Km/s without warp, or particular effort.
28 - I have to cancel an attempt to get my first kill in the match in order to dodge a missile.
50 - I start chasing down a bomber, but as a missile collapses my shield I'm forced to retreat, leading to some desperate low altitude flying.
30 - I warp to orbit and rendezvous with a supply corvette that repairs me.
45 - Dodging some more missiles, followed by a dogfight with an INT. My actual first kill.
21 - I have to repair again, this time at a carrier.
35 - Killing a bomber.
50 - Another INT vs INT dogfight, though this time other ships join in. I grow agitated enough to consider using a missile, fail to get a lock-on, then come back to my senses and finish the fight with my trusty guns.
55 - Another repair at a corvette.
17 - Warping back to the surface.
50 - My attempt to shoot down another bomber is cut short, when a missile finally gets me for good.
08 - Equipping a cruiser.
40 - Taking off in the cruiser.
33 - Approaching a station in a planetary ring system.
35 - The situational/tactical map shows the fleets arriving at the battle. Admiral Hart raves about the impenetrable force field.
50 - I try to defend the station and the "space canons"(sic) from bombers by spamming missiles. My CIWS emplacements are singing. I miss my interceptor already.
44 - I decide to move outside the force field and help the NPC cruisers against the enemy capital fleet. The mighty Heracles cannons awaken and things get immediately more fun. The enemy cruiser really has no hope when pounded from two different directions.
29 - I see things are getting more heated back at the station and I head back. Another cruiser gets a taste of my cannons.
52 - I keep moving closer and chew through some destroyers. I'd hate to fight these guys in an INT - a capital was certainly needed here. Another half-dead cruiser succumbs to a few volleys. Would all this smoke really stick around like this in space? I doubt it, but it looks cool.
52 - I help two friendly cruisers finish off an enemy, though it was hardly needed. Hunting down three more destroyers.
07 - Close fly-by of the station
42 - Dropping out of warp to chase down another destroyer.
30 - An enemy cruiser finally decides I'm a worthy target and sneakily attacks me from the side. It almost works, but it's a bit too late at this point. The battle has officially ended. I do a not very swift or elegant 180 degree victory flip while flying between the gigantic struts of the station.
40 - Docking and wrapping up because I've filmed enough propaganda for today.
