Influence bug?

Often when I turn in a mission for an Influence +++++ reward, I end up getting no influence at all. The icon displaying the reward has all the icons greyed out, and testing seems to indicate that this isn't just an interface bug, but that the influence really isn't given to the mission giving faction. This bug is still present even after Update 9.

I'm in a squadron that does a lot of work with the BGS, and this bug certainly makes that a lot more inconvenient. I made an issue tracker page here if anyone wants to add their comments: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/46450

Has anyone else had this problem before?

Look in the journal. That's the real value.

Edit: it's been in EDO since day 1, I thought I saw release notes saying it was fixed, but that was possibly only for ground missions (ground stuff being the only thing that matters any more)

Originally reported here ... https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/37939 ... shown as fixed in at least two Update patch notes since ... still happening.

But that bug is Fixed so good luck with getting your new report to Confirmed...
That was my original bug report. It seems to be mechanically fixed now and the zero INF is just a display bug. When I originally reported it, the game and the journal would both show zero INF (or rather the journal entry would just be flat out missing), now even when the game shows no INF gain, the journal reports the correct amount and I'm also seeing the expected gains in the next tick.

I did think it was odd that INF gain from missions was mentioned in the last patch though. As far as I can tell the influence reward was fixed a couple of patches ago and the behaviour is identical since the last patch.

I tested it in patch 8 and wasn't seeing the expected influence gains. I may need to test it again in patch 9 to be sure.
