Insomnia FX Elite - Complete Suite

Yes it's a bug. ^^ I dont even know if the game has a depth buffer, which both the DOF and SSAO relies on, so it might come out buggy. For me it works and I stated in on the first page that the effects works when DSR and supersampling features are disabled, and when you're in debug cam mode. :)
I know about the "restrictions", I disabled SS and can't use DSR (game permanently minimises to taskbar). Hmm, maybe the flickering appears because I have somewhat "unusual" resolution (1680*1050)? Actually...later on I'll try running in borderless to see if that helps (previously I had a lot of stuttering in borderless, but it was a few patches ago and might be fixed now).

I will let you know what's happening.

EDIT: Oh yes, I forgot... I'm using your older settings (personalised a bit) in SWTOR to a great success. Many thanks.

Any feedback appreciated.

Looking great!
Some feedback on v1.0 was I thought the contrast curve was a little extreme, for example when flying in deep space some of the nebulae that should be very clear were a little dark - as well as the milky way dust clouds when far away from the star.

Please take constructively :)
Your tweaks are looking awesome!

Yeah and the new version should be less extreme. I decreased both gamma and contrast.

Edit:
I have an experimental version I can share when I get home which is even brighter.
And yes I take it constructively. :) Thanks!

haha thx for the info. Solved it, a bit stupid on my part. I had d3doverrider running forcing triple buffering in elite. Works if i disable it for Elite.

Thanks for info mate! This will be helpful to other people having issues with ReShade. :)

Here's a little extra for anyone's interested. I found a bunch of kewl stuff in ReShade 1.1 so I decided to upload a test version. :D
It features:
-Super sharpening
-Loads of bloom saturation
-And an emboss effect.

The sharpening comes from an external sharpening shader by ioxa. It will affect the aliasing though but at +1.5x supersampling the image becomes crystal clear.

The emboss shader will add a cool effect which makes textures "pop" a little. Now it's just for fun and doesn't represent any future updates. But it's cool to see planets textures pop a little more.

A demo pic.
Look at the planet texture, the emboss shader makes the textures "pop". :)

I bought the original BETA, so I get to fluff around in the 1.5 - the Cutter is lovely to look at and honestly just feels like a bigger version of the Clipper.
The Corvette feels like a tank, I loved it - lol.

I think I'm going to get the Asp Scout though, I love little ships.

Haha congratulations! I didn't know that you could buy your way into the 1.5 beta by purchasing the 2.0 beta. Cool. :)
My biggest ship is the T7 but I'm omw to rep up with the Empire so I can at least get the Clipper. I used to do charity donations missions in 1.3 to rep up super fast. But 1.4 has put an end to that I'm afraid.

No I'm a beta backer - Ie: I bought beta ED before it was officially released, last year. :)

I sold all my ships and kitted out a T7 for pure trading, I loaded up some cheapo cargo whilst on my journey to my starting location ... and died. I went to bed instead.

Just had a go with the experimental. I'm not a fan.
It's nice for screenies, but that's about it.

Don't know if it's my setup but the font looked jagged.

You're spot on. The SMAA and all the sharpening makes text jagged. And I'm all about screenies. ;)

Then the existing release is the one I'm sticking with. :)

Odd thing happens though, from time to time my FPS drops to about 10 and only happens in station :O - it goes away after about 5-10 seconds. Really weird.

Oh WOW! I definitely recommend this add-on to those with systems able to play the game in ultra already... this is ultra-ultra settings.

One (wishful) complaint though- regarding cockpit colors:

I had hoped that the blue hud colors would somehow retain the original red, green and yellow displays on the radar, shields, objective view, etc.. rather than just being a monocolor wash that I would get my moving the HUD matrix colors around myself.

Oh, well, I just edited that part back to default, because I actually like the situational awareness I get from red, yellow, green, (and wing purple) icons on my radar in the midst of a conflict zone melee.

That said, though: awesome visual bonus eye candy! +Rep (of course)

Thank you sir! :) Can't give you rep though as I've already given you earlier it seems. Oh and I might have a solution to the HUD thing... ;)
