one question, would 3k textures In galaxy background and planet textures be possible? if so, could you show me what Values I should replace with what in the Config.xml file? I'm getting a very very minor stutter every now and again, but only at stations that have multiple planets and stars in view.

You sir are a steely eyed missile man, Elite looks just amazing. I have tinkered with these before but always made it look worse, even like your HUD colors. Thanks for sharing your profile settings

Yes I believe so.

All tweaks are done in the .cfg files in the ReShade folder. Once started it's very easy to learn.

Looked brilliant in game, unfortunately I've had to remove the preset and reshade, it didnt want to play ball with my gtx 660 and I ended up with a black screen after a couple of jumps and almost ended 6 months worth of exploration with a close encounter with a G type star.

Shame, it sure was pretty.

Win 8.1 and Reshade just doesnt go well together. Can't do much. Try updating the binary to Reshade 1.0. I will update my config to Reshade 1.0 in the near future but not right now. Sorry!

Lol ouch! Might have been too much then. Strange cuz my 660 works like a charm. Some stutter here and there but nothing I can't handle.

I'm usually not into these tweaks for ED (i do it in other games), but this one is easy to install/uninstall and the colors looks much better feels like it's alive.

I have a 2500k and a 760, so you shouldn't have any issues.

As do I, I did find an issue when viewing stars head on (in system, not on the skybox) but already mentioned it to Insomnia.
