The Issue Tracker uses the same login as the forums, if you’re using a Frontier Account. You should be able to use either your Frontier Forums account or your Steam account to login to the Issue Tracker. If you haven't already, please use your email address as your username and not your actual username on which you are known on the forums.I'm guessing my forum account is something different than a frontier account, it says that my username or password is wrong. Trying to login with steam just does nothing, it redirects me to the steam login page and back to the issue tracker, but I'm not being logged in.
Happens on all browsers with or without adblocker.

I have just tried to login to the Issue Tracker with both my Frontier Forums account and Steam account, both methods worked for me. Perhaps you can try to clear your browser cache and see if that helps? Or try to disable blocking cookies?
While not ideal, the team does gather feedback from the forums as well as the Issue Tracker. Ideally it would be great to have it reported on the Issue Tracker especially since the issue doesn't seem to be reported already.
