Installing the Mercenary version over a former beta/gamma/release version

I have been playing since Beta.

now I can download the mercenary addition from the store.

will I loose my save if I install it?

what will I get in addition?

There was a wipe for gamma but anything after that should survive.

You will get a free Eagle but unless you wipe your save it might not be in the same system for you due to a bug. Mine was though so check the system map for the system it tells you it is in and you should see a blue ship icon wherever it is stored. You get some skins and decals too and there is some other bits such as an art book which is still to come.

Your save is on the server so it's safe.

You might lose your custom control and graphics settings.
