General / Off-Topic Interactive Periodic Table

Was working on a project and found this:

http://www.ptable.com/

To quote Chris Gregory, its 'visually interesting'

Really good IMO ;)

Could help anyone from children to adults.

That's brilliant Cosmos! My father was a chemistry teacher, and knew the (then much simpler) periodic table off by heart. In those steam-driven days my favourite was the cylindrical representation (or perhaps that should be a spiral).
This is fantastic however :)

<edit> just noticed the post number: 666

The more cool stuff we have like this that can make science less dreary to the learner and more exciting the better. I think children of today are lucky to have such stuff.

When it comes to the periodic table having something like this makes it super intuitive. I learnt all the bodies in the solar system when I was younger by playing a computer game called Deuteros - when you learn by actually not realizing you are doing it - in an enjoyable experience, that knowledge will always be with you.
