Introducing the STAR (Strategic Tritium & Rescue) Initiative

The Strategic Tritium & Rescue (STAR) initiative brings together Fleet Carrier Owners Club (FCOC), DSSA (FleetComm), Fuel Rats & Hull Seals to provide tritium supplies and fuelled rescue carriers across the galaxy, as well as supporting expeditions and the deployment and retirement of DSSA carriers.

There are currently around 30 fuelled STAR depots around the galaxy. These include several DSSA carriers; carriers owned by Fuel Rats and Hull Seals, Azura Initiative (Great Annihilator), Celestial Light Brigade (Voqooe Hub); as well as independent owners.

Trtitium is delivered to these depots from the Bubble and Colonia Bridge by STAR logistics volunteers. The tritium is subsidised and underwritten by the FCOC Cash-for-Carriers Fund to help keep it relatively affordable. Rescue carriers are based around the galaxy, but 95% of rescues take place on the main highways.

Main Activities:
1. Establishment of a network of Tritium Depots (currently around 30) across the galaxy (see FCOC discord #tritium-depots for details)
2. Tritium Resupply/Logistics
3. Rescues of carriers and ships using carriers
4. DSSA Retirement/Deployment and Expedition Support

STAR is organised and managed within the Fleet Carrier Owners Club discord server. If you'd like to know more then head to our server. If you'd like to help out let us know in #contact-our-admins. o7

I didn't know these guys existed Ed, is it a new initiative or has it been running for a while?

Kudos to those involved.
Hi. We set it up in December but wanted to get it to a certain level of progress before posting here. At the moment you need to go to our server to see depot locations, but in time we'd like to set up something with EDSM/EDAstro/Inara and i think Rick from Fuel Rats is looking into that. It's cool because we have all these teams working together in our server on STAR, and that brings in all sorts of contacts, ideas and opportunities.

Good effort setting this up. Bringing together the best of the community to help others out. (y)
I'll look into signing up for it soon. About time I took a trip into the black again.

I am glad to inform that all shuttle services to and from Beagle Point will restart from today, departure from Beagle Point to Colonia/Sol is planned at 14:00 UTC, carrier Beagle Rover T1J-T8H
There are no odyssey services on this shuttle atm, but captain will be on the bridge for the first series of jumps.
Colonia to Beagle Shuttle wil leave March 24th 14:00 from TIR, with Odyssey services installed, both shuttles are equipped with Outfitting and Shipyard.
The Interstellar Exchange passengers terminal in Great Annihilator and the Luna's Shadow STAR tritium depot do not currently provide any Odyssey service but will be updated during next month, Beagle Point STAR depot will not provide Odyssey services as they will be available on the local DSSA carrier.

Hello! Does anyone know if this is still being maintained? I've received reports of carriers not being where they're listed in the STAR spreadsheet.

I do like this, it is invaluable when you don't stock enough Tritium for a trip. I thank the carrier's owner of the RR-DSSA Rocksteady for letting me empty your hold of Tritium. CMDR Dirk Bran will refuel if possible before he leaves system
