General / Off-Topic invalid skype name.

I use my Microsoft account to login in Skype.

Therefor my skype name is my email adres i assume..

Though if i enter my email adres i get the "invalid skype name" error message.

There must be something i oversee. Any help?

Your account isn't being recognised or hasn't been created.

Try creating another.

I hope you don't mind me adding, but please remember to check the privacy settings and only accept invited and calls from people on your contacts list.

Also, after signing up you sign in with your user name.
