Oh wow, somehow I always forget that the Beeb had analog-joystick capability. Flying with just a digital joystick added a bit of spice to carrier space station landing! (ZX Spectrum, Kempston Competition Pro...)
And I hadn't heard the 6502 called a RISC CPU before. Turns out there's been a debate raging for decades about it being RISC/CISC/neither!

Didn't it have Microcode, making it CISC, despite having a reduced instruction set? (Motorola chips were really rather good, until they stopped making them)

Apparently not.

I own an ASP Scout (at least) -- I mostly used or use my oldest ship in existence, which is an AspX, though. I agree to Templar.
As well the old ships have provenance the new ships need to proof what the old ships already achieved.

If I were buying a ship in real life, I'd pay over the odds for style!
