Is Fdev Guilty of Any of This?

I think the more serious question here is can “Trump be impeached over it?”
Given the circus I saw today with Adam Schiff in public testimony if Trump ever played Elite Dangerous the Democrats could come up with 6 people who would testify that he exploited the game. Of course they were not there seeing Trump playing ED but they "feel' that he did it. You get the idea. What a joke. I'm embarrassed with our USA politicians NOT doing the job they were elected to.

If we in the USA cannot get it together then no wonder the rest of the world says, "Just wait for the next election". Very smart for them.

Way to deflect.
And draw politics into this.

Whatever. You are right and I'm wrong if it pleases you. End of discussion.

Not "if it pleases you". You didn't see he was being sarcastic. No shame in admitting that.

Too late, ED has always been P2W. Don't believe me, just ask yourself this: did you have to pay to buy the game? Of course the answer is a resounding YES, so this game is definitely PAY-2-WIN. Every aspect of this god awful game is P2W, FD should be locked up for grand theft, I've half a mind to call Interpol right now!

Even their subtle microtransactions are P2W - I have outfitted all my ships in Vibrant Red with Red Engine exhaust cos it is a proven fact that any red vehicle is the fastest.

Before you get your knickers in a twist and cut the circulation off to your brain, please note that the above comments were written in BOLD SARCASM FONT and not intended to be taken literally

I made my old stock Python red because, well, it isn't otherwise really particularly fast right out of the box.

All my ships are red, cos now no one can ever catch me - unless their ships are red as well - hmm might have a problem here. I know, I'll go back to the store and see if there is a redder red, maybe with racing strips cos they always make things go faster :D

(Just to be safe, can someone tell Hooplah I am being sarcastic again before he brings BRETEX into the argument :D)

Just beware - FDEV will come up with a red paint job with two parallel white stripes down the length of the ships, and those ships will be the fastest.

(I think he knows).

Oh, by the way in case you are worried about all of this: CMDR Thrust from Bradford have indicated that the hydrofoil ship kit for the Moray Starboat does seem to give it some advantages on certain water worlds.

It will only be the fastest if it is Red, with White Strips AND this logo on the rear:

Really, I thought CMDR Thrust was so awesome he didn't need ship kits, especially the hydrofoil one. I heard the water just parted magically infront of his ship, the water was too much in awe to even contemplate touching the CMDR's hull :D

This is demonstrably false. It's the attachment of various aftermarket manufacturer stickers to the body and/or windows that increase the top speed/acceleration of a vehicle, space or land. Let's keep it to the facts please.

Yeah well, sometimes he has to test the stuff we plebs will be treated to in the future.

No.

I'm surprised the OP didn't watch the video first before posting; it's an odd question to ask: "Can someone please watch this video. I'd like to know if it has any relevance. KTHXBYE"

However, CIG are definitely guilty of many things in that video with Star Citizen :D

I agree Stuart, I've been waiting for the OP's opinion also, I'm still here lol

If we are talking about purchasing cosmetics for our ships as some kind of micro-transaction I don't agree. Yes, we can be lured into them but like an iPad where a player NEEDs to purchase them to advance in the game. Frontier does not do this.

Still some PR talent at Frontier knows our emotions. Owning every ship in the game I like highly engineered going back to the basics I probably wouldn't consider flying an Imperial Eagle if I couldn't personalize it. Thus that might be the micro-transaction Frontier figured out that we would buy.

After personalizing this Imperial Eagle how could a player not want to fly it? Those sneaky Frontier PRs.

Gotta say, that's a nice boat! I love my i-eagle, she looks quite similar to yours, Raven's Dusk I call mine lol

If you're on the PC friend CMDR Hooplah. I also welcome others. Given enough Imperial Eagles we might have some fun. My build has two engineered rail guns boosting to 778 m/s.
